Adecco Italia S.p.A., for an Italian company operating in the Industrial Automation Sector, is looking for a Robotic SW Senior Engineer.

The resource placed in the Technical Office will take care of the coordination of the Software Development Division, Testing and Start-up of Robotic Islands in the Industrial field (steel plants, off shore, handling in critical environments).

Responsibility:
• Define HW/SW architecture of the control system.
• Configure the necessary components for the implementation of the control system (PC/PLC, supervisor, robot if necessary).
• Define the interface reference specifications between the different components, with the supervision of the Island, human-machine interface.
• Develop an analysis of the compliance of the system with the machinery directive by identifying the necessary safety devices.
• Provide the necessary support to electrical and mechanical design to ensure the correct integration of systems and functions.
• Supervise and support as necessary the development phases of the system.
• Develop with the mechanical and electrical design the test and testing procedures of the system.
• Follow and coordinate the tests if necessary.
• Set up and develop the necessary documentation (specifications, procedures and reports, manuals).
• Coordinate the commissioning of the robot at the customer's premises.

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent qualifications.
• Previous experience in the job.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of programming in industrial automation.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Request availability for short trips.
