IT SOURCING
Professional characteristics:
Senior BA resource (2-4 years in a Management Consulting Company or Corporate IT Dept in a structured Company)
MSc Degree (Engineering/Math/Economics)
Flexibility and autonomy in organizing activities
Innovative and proactive in order to suggest "collaborative" solutions
Ability to work in a wide scope
Interested in IT sector and IT market development
Main Activities:
Perform data/contract analysis:
IT current structure spending
Total cost analyses
Track Sourcing project results
Contract analysis
Develop a deep knowledge of the IT categories assigned to him/her:
Products / services to purchase
Supply market offering and identification of suitable suppliers
Share Sourcing practice with IT Managers
Support and Participate in the development of the Sourcing IT Road Map
Support the sourcing project activities according to the Procurement Sourcing IT department methodology
The project activities will depend from the scope. Common activities will be Sourcing Approach definition, data preparation and sharing, baseline definition, negotiation with suppliers (products, service levels, prices, geographical coverage, Payment Terms, etc.), Development of the sourcing strategy (where to purchase, considering demand and supply situations, while minimizing risk and costs), support the definition of Sourcing Recommendation, Support the contract definition
Skills needed:
Data analysis and basic statistic methods
Knowledge of the IT category (HW/SW - Purchase & Maintenance, Consulting Services, IT Project Development phases, Digital & Cloud (saas, paas, iaas) knowledge is a plus)
Fluent English (spoken, written, comprehension), German is a plus
Strong MS Office skill (excel, ppt, word,
Preference skills:
Basic knowledge of IT Sourcing methodology and negotiation skills
Basic knowledge of the project management
Basic knowledge of the procurement / accounting processes (capex, opex, P&L, Balance Sheet, ...)
Basic Knowledge of legal matters (IT contract analysis)
